A backyard in West Hills & Upper Las Virgenas Canyon

I started photographing in this canyon as a 16 year old girl. After high school my friends and I would drive here to explore, and I of course would take photographs. Since then I’ve photographed multiple engagements and couple sessions. When Rafael and Alyssa mentioned they were getting married in West Hills for their back yard ceremony, I couldn’t help but this to shoot at this place afterwards! & I am so glad I did. What is special about this location is that it changes with the seasons. The grass grows tall and green, only to be dried out by the sun where the bright wild flowers grow. No matter the season, this place is always beautiful.
